Held last December and this March, the clinics welcomed children aged 6 to 14, with over 60 participants taking part across the two sessions. It was incredible to see the level of energy and excitement radiating throughout each session as we hosted training across our facilities — offering the children a chance to play, learn and connect through football.

Guided by experienced coaches, the sessions introduced fundamental football skills through engaging drills, small-sided games and team activities. Beyond technique, the focus was on building confidence, encouraging teamwork and promoting health and sportsmanship — values that sit at the heart of both HKFC and HSBC Life.

For many of the children, the clinics offered a new experience: training in a club environment, making new friends, and discovering what they could achieve through teamwork and determination. It was a wonderful reminder of the power of sports and the positive impact it can have on the wider community.

A staff member from PLK shared, "Under the guidance of elite coaches, our children enjoyed an immersive football session filled with energy and teamwork. Through focused drills and small-sided games, they honed their ball skills while learning that team spirit outweighs individual brilliance. Cheers from the sidelines reflected the growing values of communication, sportsmanship, and mutual support."
