    The Hong Kong Football club employs a staff of 310 people across a wide range of sports facilities management, food and beverage, administration, security, and other skills areas.

    Job Opportunities

    Chief Steward

    Department: Food and Beverage 

    Summary of Duties

    • Responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness and the efficiency of all the F&B operation Equipment and all back-of-the-house areas
    • Supervise and maintain the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, cleanliness and safety in all kitchens, dishwashing areas, garbage collection, storage and any other production areas.
    • Together with the Director of Food & Beverage and Executive Chef, assist with sourcing, procurement of new equipment for Food & Beverage outlets and kitchens.
    • Maintain service and kitchen equipment in good operating condition.
    • Supervise all steward employees and ensure their optimal performance is maintained.

    Major Responsibilities

    • Review of loss and breakage report every three months
    • Check all operation equipment and cleaning supply requisition daily
    • Arrange schedule weekly to ensure that staff is in line with the future function
    • Review club sanitation and hygiene that achieve the government regulation.
    • Supervises the day to day functioning of F & B function and as a backup for all equipments needs. Check all back of house area’s equipment and environment to ensure everything operate as effectively, efficiently and safety.
    • Daily checking the fridge temperature and the hygiene issue such as food were well covered and date label. Checking the cleanliness of the entire kitchen to ensure that all the cleaning works done last night was properly.
    • Kitchen inspection holds two times per month, to oversee the entire F & B kitchen, ensure food and hygiene meet the club standard and government regulation.
    • Keep the Steward Store Room clean and tidy, disposal the slow moving items if any.

    Club Shop & Library Manager

    Manager Job Descriptions:

    Club Shop:

    • Responsible for the day – to – operations of both Club shop and Library and maintaining both presented in a clean, tidy well stocked manner always.
    • Ensure all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability.
    • Coordinate the other staff members so that they work together to achieve shop budget.                    
    • Ensure all staff to deliver good customer service to our club members and guests.
    • Managing Staff, ensure all safety and rules and procedures are followed all the time.
    • Ensure members and guests needs are met, service is quick and efficient.
    • Respond to members and guests’ complaints and comments.
    • Manage stock levels and make decisions about stock control.
    •  Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales.
    •  Ordering stocks for Shop
    •  Organize special sales and promotions
    •  Researched trend items in the market
    •  Preparing annual inventory
    •  Preparing annual budget
    •  Dealing with suppliers

    Library:

    • To foresee the operation in Library
    • Dealing with IT and Accounts Department when problems arises.
    • In charge in ordering Library Materials
    • Dealing with some Publishers
    • Preparing Annual Budget
    • Monthly advertisement in the Club Magazine of new materials e.g., Books, DVDs, Blu-rays at the Library.
    • Dealing with members’ requests, complaints, or some feedbacks.
    • Ensure that Library’s environment is well maintained and organized.

    Cook A (Pastry Kitchen) 一級廚師 (餅房)

    Bar Waiter/ Waitress

    Department: Food & Beverage

    Responsibilities:

    • Providing quality food and beverage service to members and guests, according to Club Specifications:
    • Able to set up of service area and equipment with necessary supplies
    • Ability to multi-tasks and eyes for details
    • Works Courteously and efficiently
    • Split shift may be required

    Requirements:

    • F.5 standard or certificate holder of F&B in IVE
    • Minimum of 1 years' food and beverage service experience
    • Certification of previous training in liquor, wine preferably
    • Good communication skills in both English & Cantonese
    • Pleasant personality and customer oriented

    Lifeguard

    Department: Sports

    Job Specifications:

    • Providing quality service to members and guest in our Swimming Pool
    • Maintain life saving procedures
    • Knowledge of proper chemical handling
    • Monitor the cleanliness and sanitation regulations of swimming pools

    Job Requirements:

    • Form 5 Standard or equivalent life saving training
    • Holder of valid Pool Lifeguard Award
    • Minimum 2 years relevant working experience
    • Pleasant, cheerful with good customer service skills
    • Good command of spoken English
    • Immediately available preferred

    Part-time Lifeguard ($85/hour)

    Department: Sports

    Job Specifications:

    • Providing quality service to members and guest in our Swimming Pool
    • Maintain life saving procedures
    • Knowledge of proper chemical handling
    • Monitor the cleanliness and sanitation regulations of swimming pools

    Job Requirements:

    • Form 5 Standard or equivalent life saving training
    • Holder of valid Pool Lifeguard Award
    • Minimum 2 years relevant working experience
    • Pleasant, cheerful with good customer service skills
    • Good command of spoken English
    • Immediately available preferred

    Technician

    Department: Engineering

    Job Specification

    • Runs the daily operation of the Engineering Department and repair works in the Club premises
    • Shift duties

    Job Requirement

    • F.5 Graduate
    • Holder of the Green Card and EMSD Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker
    • 3-5 years of electric works experience
    • Knowledge of AC and AV connections will be an advantage
