Lawn Bowls is a sport for all ages, all races, both sexes and for people of any physical build. As a result of this the Lawn Bowls section is one of a diverse range of people who have one common interest, playing the game of Lawn Bowls. With around 200 members, the Section participates in the HKLBA leagues and National competitions as well as organizing internal competitions in all forms of the game on both Outdoor green and Indoor carpet.
Lawn Bowl is one of the sports in Hong Kong Football Club. Since 1932, the Lawn Bowl Section continues to celebrate our many bowling talents with acclaimed local and international successes amongst different games. Our bowlers bring pride to the Club from the globe with achievements in games such as World Cup, World Singles Champion of Champions, Asia Pacific Championship, Asia Bowls Championships, and Chinese National Lawn Bowls Championship. We also proud to bring local achievement back to our HKFC green being nominated for Samsung HK Sports Stars Awards and amongst the many national league games achievements.
While we have many achievement, the Section also embraces some bowling fun. The Section is proud to nurture beginners of any caliber, age and background to have introduced many to the game with our talented coach. Welcoming all level of games, the Section also hosts series of events throughout the year, such as festive celebration in Chinese New Year and Boxing Day, friendly games with local and international clubs and our iconic pig cutting ceremony to start our league season.
As the Lawn Bowl Section representing one of the best sports club in Asia, our members participate and bring successes through various games. Majority of our section members competes and contributes to our collective achievements in the local league game hosted by Hong Kong Lawn Bowls Association (HKLBA) through Premier League and Winter League. Our section members also participates in many local and international bowling competitions. These successes are well celebrated with HKFC section members' presence representing not only HKFC but as part of the Hong Kong Squad.
