HKFC Squash Teams Seal Impressive Division 1 League Double

    23 Mar 2023

HKFC's squash teams reaffirmed their status as Hong Kong's preeminent squash powerhouse by sweeping to the men's and ladies' Division 1 league titles.

Spearheaded by former and current Hong Kong champions, HKFC's men's team edged out challengers to win 11 of their 16 matches. The ladies team, featuring reigning Hong Kong champion Tomato Ho and rising stars, won 17 of 20 games to seal a historic consecutive crown.

The league triumphs highlighted why HKFC continues to lead the way locally in squash, especially on the ladies' side. Their unparalleled strength makes them favourites to claim more silverware in April's Hong Kong Squash League Final Series.

HKFC’s squash teams swept to an impressive title double in the Hong Kong Squash League, cementing their status as the dominant force in local squash.

In the ladies' division, HKFC's team won 17 matches out of 20 matches to finish over 10 points clear of second-placed KCC. Spearheaded by reigning Hong Kong champion Tomato Ho and Team Hong Kong Fung Ching Hei, rising stars Renee Wu and Hailey Wong under convenor Carmen Lee, underlined HKFC's dominance of the women's game in the region.

HKFC’s men’s team also finished top of the standings with 11 wins in 16 matches to complete the impressive double. Spearheaded by convenor Carlos Cornes and featuring former and current Hong Kong champions including Max Lee, Alex Lau, club champion Mark Low, junior Justin Cheng, our Chairman Vincent Yu and club championship 2nd runner-up Eric Ho, they had too much firepower and skill for their challengers.
