    HKFC HOCKEY RESULTS

Oh what a night! Thanks to all the Festive Fun-timers who made Friday night’s Hockey Christmas Party such a great event. Special mention goes out to the G Team Naughty Nuns who walked away with the Best Dressed prize.

It appears the late night of revelry had little effect on the weekend’s performances. Here are the results and a few match reports from team representatives:

    Saturday 30th Nov

    HKFC Women’s A  15 - 0  Shaheen A

    HKFC Women’s B  1 - 1  Coyotez

B team babes played Coyotes and drew 1 all with a goal from Babs having been 1 - 0 down. Great team work all round.

    HKFC Women’s C  3 – 0  Valley B

    HKFC Women’s D   0 – 0   Aquila A

    HKFC Women’s E  0 – 1   HKFC Women’s F

E Team: Great game although we lost 1-0. Dawn-Frosty combo as Dawnie slipped ball to Frosty - the injector. We had more possession and we got in their D a lot. Ida saved too many! The team did us proud. Lots of good passing and running off the ball to create pace. We were unlucky at least not to draw. Their short corner was excellent. We had quite a few chances but just could not convert. Elise named MVP. She made a real difference with her runs down the right side. Everyone gave it their all. Brilliant effort.

F Team: Fs won 1-0, goal from Claire Frost, player of the match Abi Tyrell. Thanks to Es for the champers in the Sportsman’s Bar after drinks.

    HKFC Women’s G   0 – 5  Khalsa A

A valiantly fought game against a strong Khalsa team that included an ex-China Olympian. Sister Lauren named MVP. Nevertheless, the Team choose to focus on their victory off the pitch with the Naughty Nuns scampering off with Friday night’s prize for Best Dressed. Praise be.

    HKFC Women’s H  14 – 0  Valley E

Huge win for Cubs. Must have something to do with their uncanny impressions of their Naughty / Nice coaches on Friday night…

    Sunday 1st Dec

    HKFC Men’s B  0 – 7  KNSA

    HKFC Men’s C  4 – 2  NBC A

    Goal scorers: Rookie x 2, Joe x 1, Pie x 1

    M.O.M. : Rookie

Top of the Table Clash, the Men's C claims the throne with a 4-2 Victory. NBC A has given the C's their toughest game so far this season. They scored the opener with just 2 mins in the game. The C's fought hard together. Rookie scored the equalizer from short-corner. Not long after, he scored another one that put the Cs in the lead for half-time. The C's kept the momentum going in the second half. Joe and Pie's finish seized the game. A great team effort!

    HKFC Men’s D  3 – 3  Dutch A

Great game against Dutch A with a final score of 3:3 with goals form Dom, Kit and Martin. Almost a great last second goal from Kit with a thru the legs deflection which would have won it for the D’s. We also had a game on Friday night against SSSC B with a unfortunate 4:4 draw with goals coming from Kit[2] Amo[1] and Justin[1].

    HKFC Men’s E  6 – 0  Valley C

    HKFC Men’s F  0 – 0  Khalsa C

Sunday saw the F team venture to the Valley grounds for the second time this year, and for the second time the result was a disappointing scoreless draw. Khalsa C were much improved compared to when we beat them 3-0 in round 1 but played the same frustrating, midfield-free style of hockey. The F team had by far the better of the chances but it wasn't our day. Special mention to Jacob for fluffing 3(!) golden chances. I'll give best on to Jeroen for saving the few chances Khalsa had and earning us a point. Honourable mentions to the most experienced backline in the business - Ferg, Lyle, Watty and Mitch.

    HKFC Men’s G  3 – 1  RHOBA C

    HKFC Men’s H  0 – 2  HKU A

    Monday 2nd December

    HKFC Women’s C  6 – 0  Antlers A
