How To Spend A Day At The Club

    07 Apr 2025

Not sure what to do on your downtime? Getting bored of your usual routine? Here's a rundown on how one of our Members spends a day at the city's premier sports club!

From an early, active morning to a late, lively night, HKFC has the space and variety not found in any other Club to spend a day however you like. With 18 different facilities, the Club is the go-to for anyone wanting to spend their days basking in relaxation and wellness.

Boasting various F&B outlets, a five-lane swimming pool, golf simulators, and saunas, amongst many other facilities, the Club has become a hub for professionals with a passion for sports.

Whether it’s a public holiday, a weekend, or a slow weekday, here’s a guide on how to spend a day in Hong Kong’s favourite third space.

Get the blood pumping at the Training Triangle

There’s no better way to start your morning than getting a good sweat outside in the Hong Kong heat. The Training Triangle is perfect to combine my fundamental lifts with the fitness equipment. Ending your workout with an assault bike, ski erg, or kcals sprint on the bike is the best (and worst) way to start your workday.

    Breakfast at the Coffee Shop

One of the most popular spots in the Club is the Coffee Shop, with floor to ceiling windows that bring in streams of natural light, as well as all-day dining. You can order avocado toast from the a la carte menu with your favourite morning coffee or indulge in a breakfast buffet to fuel up for the rest of the day. Having your breakfast out on the outdoor terrace is perfect for a sunny morning, with views of the race track on one side and the 5-lane pool on the other.

    A Morning Swim

As the sun begins to beam down and the lactic acid builds from the TT workout, the best option is to cool down by taking a dip in the pool. Weekdays are often quiet and you can get a head start on your recovery, while taking some time to relax and read off to the side. The Pool Bar is ideal for a smoothie or afternoon pick-me-up.

    Late Lunch & Lounge

A great place for a casual bite, the Chairman’s Bar on the second floor, offers great lunch options and a quiet atmosphere. The large windows overlooking the racetrack make for a pleasant backdrop while you answer emails and work on your latest project.

When you inevitably take hours to finish your work, and you find the sun’s low in the sky again, text your friends, ask if they’re around, and grab a pint (or four) at the Sportsman’s Bar, where you can sit on the outdoor patio watching the sun go down.
